Quiet...Serene...Calm..
There are times we need to be in a quiet place,a place without distraction, so we can actually hear God. He wants to commune with us. Like Elijah, we all must learn that god isn't always in the wind, or earthquake or the fire...but if we wait, we will hear His small voice, His whisper. He will surround us with His presence. Where there was fear He will bring peace, where their was doubt He will bring hope.
1Kings 19:12 After the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of a gentle blowing.
I'll share with you a few words the Lord has highlighted to me through this visual.
Be still and know that I am God. In the stillness you will hear my voice.
Quietness of heart is key. You will hear me in the quiet places. I have things to impart to you.
In the quiet I hear your voice, your sweet whisper becomes clear to me.
